Chair eXPerience

I guess I really should make a new post before the month of May is ended.

a little story from my last visit to Surabaya for AIESEC Indonesia National Planning Conference... I got the opportunity to be a chair in the conference :p (first time experience being a chair..and a bit nervous actually :p)

I was able to meet the next generation of AIESEC Indonesia. Being with them for 7 days just made me recalling my AIESEC days couple years back... AIESEC Indonesia has been growing really fast!

Actually, I was so inspired by all of them. They can really show they are the true leaders of their LC and I can really say that they are totally smart with full of ideas!, they cannot stop discussing everything (as Chair, I am a bit stress to manage the discussion time, since they enjoy it so much hahaha:p)

I just hope one day, they can be the leaders of Indonesia.. I am gonna wait for that; AIESECers becoming Leaders in our beloved country (I hope I can be one too..Amien :))

just one sentence: I am really proud of AIESEC INDONESIA

Let's create more impact!,

3 cities in a month! and more....

I miss blogging already.

I have been traveling a lot lately.

The thing about travel around is you totally can feel new atmosphere and got lots of inspiration from it....

My first travel was visiting my hometown in Jogjakarta. I have planned it since I was still working for Danone. Well, excited to meet all my family back in Jogja, esp. eyang and my favorite cousin, Dek Gahar and of course, tasting some new food!

Luckily, my plan to go to Jogja was supported by all my friends. since Eja is having his work in this 'student' city, all my friends wanted to visit him!...so I left earlier on Wednesday..and they arrived after on Friday. so kinda had a 'genk' holiday HAHAHAHA.. went to eat a lot (since ayu was there, and she just couldn't stop eating lol). It's a trip from one restaurant to another restaurant. The thing I loved about Jogja is cheaaaaaaaapppppppppppp!. You can get a chocomelt with Ice cream only for 8,000 rupiah!

I went to Magelang on the weekends. We did some cool stuffs. I went to a very unique gallery unintended. This Gallery is all about Gus Dur. from paintings, statue, books and etc. That was kinda fun...I had pictures with those funny stuffs.

The hotel I stayed in is 4 thumbs up. Thanks for Om yoyok's family for taking me with them. The hotel has a supereb views of mountains and river. we did rafting! (getting darker :( )and also air soft gun. and not to forget that we ate the famous kupat tahu magelang!

Back to Jogja..and I was so excited because Om Yudi set me up for a meeting with a funder company. I had a presentation about Satoe Indonesia and its activities. I was targeting them to give funding for Satoe Indonesia. and that was kinda a start. So though my purpose is to have a holiday there, but it was also a bit productive for my work.

Back to Jakarta for only 1 day. Ria and Bale asked me to go to Bandung with them...it's for Satoe Indonesia meeting. wowww...so after that I directly went to Bandung. Had a tough meeting but really nice lah that I was getting to know more and more about Satoe Indonesia. Recalling days when I was in AIESEC, totally similar :). Loving those trip, because I got to know so many people and also their thoughts. SO HAPPY that i did really feel that I was together with same people in same passion for the same vision.

The trip wasn't finish there. Directly after Bandung, I went to Tasikmalaya. Wowww..never been there so I was really excited. We planned to see Tasik Culture and Craft festival. This festival was held by one of our friend, Farhan. He was totally a juragan of Tasik! haha...Spending 2 days in Tasik, we went to a very very beuatiful place. It was a 'perumahan' with a view of lake and mountain.. The next day we went shopping!! bought like A LOT A LOT of Batik and jilbab, and other things!.

I love travelling really!. I felt those 2 last trips was a bond for my team, me, Ria and Bale. Saw a lot of cool places and cool people. Different places, different people, different perspectives. I wish I could stay longer in each places.

Actually, I still have another story about my journey at the beginning of May. But keep the best for the last lah...will tell you all about it and show you some photos in my next post!
